Chelsie Miller broke three of her own Kansas school records at the Big 12 Championship. The junior lowered her times in the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 butterfly. She represented the Jayhawks in all three events at the NCAA Championship meet, and finished 13th in the 400 IM.
This season Michael Stigler clocked two times in the 400m hurdles that rank among the top 10 in the world this year. The senior went undefeated winning his fourth straight Big 12 title, and his first national title at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Stigler clocked a 48.44 in his win at Texas Relays. Texas sophomore Will Licon helped the Longhorns win its 11th NCAA swimming championship last March. Licon won the 400 individual medley; 200 breast stroke; and was a member of UT’s record-setting 400 medley relay team. Licon was named Big 12 men’s swimmer of the year and in his two seasons in Austin is a seven-time All-American.
