New Jersey’s No. 1 defensive tackle for 2017, Fred Hansard, has revealed his top schools.

With his college decision approaching quickly, Fred Hansard has cut his list down to seven schools. Barring a future trimming, on May 14, Hansard will reveal his decision between Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Rutgers and Tennessee.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Princeton, NJ prospect announced his top choices on Twitter Thursday.

Schools previously in the running but missing the cut were Alabama, Arizona State, Cal, Miami, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, UCLA, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.

Hansard is a consensus 4-star recruit, and is ranked as the No. 206 player and No. 12 defensive tackle in the nation by Scout.com.
