Four-star running back Kylin Hill committed to Mississippi State on Wednesday, giving the Bulldogs 14 commits in the 2017 class.
The future of Dan Mullen’s offense brightened up a bit on Wednesday afternoon when 4-star running back Kylin Hill committed to Mississippi State.
Hill, from Columbus, Mississippi, is the nation’s No. 10 running back and No. 101 overall prospect.
He announced his decision via a statement on Twitter.
“It was a tough decision, but with the help of a couple close friends & peers I’ve finally decided to make my commitment. Even tho I will be committing to a team I will allow other teams even the teams that’s already offered me to continue recruiting me, cause signing day is a long way from now and you never know what might happen. Without God in my life this moment wouldn’t be possible. I am verbally committed to the university of MISSISSIPPI STATE … GO BULLDOGS [sic]”
With the addition of Hill, Mississippi State’s class now has 14 commits, and, with Kentucky falling due to a recent decommitment, the Bulldogs jumped up to No. 14 in the 2017 class rankings.
Hill received an offer from Missippi State last June and has made five visits to Starkville — including one for the Bulldogs’ junior day on January 30.
His most recent visit was on May 7.
