Nick Saban received a call from Barack Obama on Wednesday. The POTUS congratulated Saban on his fifth title.

It’s been a good week for Nick Saban.

On Monday, Saban won his fifth national championship as a coach and fourth with Alabama. It’s an unfathomable number in today’s college football landscape.

Two days after moving one title closer to the legendary Paul “Bear” Bryant’s six, Saban received a congratulatory phone call from President Barack Obama.

The official Alabama football Twitter account sent out the following shots of Saban and Obama chatting it up.

Just another day in the life of Nick Saban.

With Saban not planning on retiring anytime soon, this may not be the last call he receives from the POTUS. Especially considering Alabama is staring at another top five recruiting class and is already viewed by Vegas as the odds-on favorite to win next year’s title.
