Cory Hall named cornerbacks coach for Oregon State

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) Cory Hall, former Fresno State and NFL defensive end, has been named cornerbacks coach at Oregon State.

Hall was briefly a graduate assistant coach for the Beavers during practice last spring before spending last season as secondary coach at Weber State.

A standout at Fresno State, Hall spent six seasons in the NFL, playing for the Bengals and the Falcons. He was originally a third-round pick by Cincinnati in 1999 and would go on to start 70 games.

Hall served as a graduate assistant under Beavers coach Gary Andersen at Wisconsin in 2014.
