Delaware-Delaware State postponed to Sunday

NEWARK, Del. (AP) Delaware’s football game against Delaware State has been postponed until Sunday because of severe thunderstorms.

Delaware’s home opener was originally scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m., but was postponed to Sunday at noon.

Delaware and Delaware State are both looking to shake off season-opening setbacks. Delaware has beaten Delaware State in all five previous meetings for The First State Cup.
