Field Hockey. No. 17 Field Hockey, Holy Cross Kick Off Turnpike Trophy Friday

The 17th-ranked Boston University field hockey team will look to remain in first place in the Patriot League standings when it makes the short trip to Holy Cross on Friday (Oct. 9). Game time at Hart Turf Field is set for 5 p.m.

The contest will serve as the kickoff to the inaugural Turnpike Trophy competition, a rivalry series between the Patriot League rivals. Points will be awarded for head-to-head victories, both in the regular season and the postseason, or a higher finish at conference championships that are determined by team standings.
