Jan. 27, 2016

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Lafayette was well-represented on the Patriot League Field Hockey Academic Honor Roll released by the conference office Wednesday afternoon, with 12 student-athletes receiving recognition for their accomplishments in the classroom.

To be eligible for the Fall Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s seven fall championship sports.

Junior goalkeeper Katelyn Arnold, who landed on the Academic All-Patriot League team in the fall, led the way with a perfect 4.00 grade-point average. The Government & Law and Economics double major was one of 10 field hockey players in the conference to register a 4.00 GPA.

Arnold was additionally one of three Lafayette All-Patriot League performers to be recognized for her academics. Junior forward Amanda Magadan (3.58 – Psychology) and senior defender Hannah Millen (3.58 – History) were among those to join Arnold on the list.

The Leopards finished the 2015 fall semester with a 3.27 team grade-point average, registering a GPA over 3.00 for an 18th-consecutive semester.
