Four Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

Aug. 24, 2015

Four Terriers earned spots on the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced on Monday morning.

Senior Elizabeth Kelley and sophomores Taylor Hardison, Janelle Macone and Brynne Yarranton each earned the distinction after achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Hardison was also chosen to the Academic All-Patriot League Team last season while all four earned spots on the conference’s academic honor roll.

Last week the IWLCA announced that Boston University was one of 86 Division I programs to earn Academic Honor Squad distinction. The Terriers achieved this honor by maintaining a team grade point average above a 3.0 during the 2014-15 school year. Eight terriers aided in the attainment of this honor as Patriot League Honor Roll members, which is awarded to student-athletes who earn a GPA of 3.20 or higher while in-season.
