Grewal Brings Home All-Patriot League Honors

EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette senior Greg Grewal has been named to the All-Patriot League Swimming and Diving Second Team, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Grewal set three school records in the Patriot League Swimming and Diving Championships held Feb. 18-21 at Navy’s Lejeune Hall. Grewal placed third in the 100 breast (53.89), making the NCAA B cut for the third straight year.

He finished third in the 200 breast (1:57.97) in which he also made the NCAA B cut. The senior Chemical Engineering major also set a new school record in the 200 IM, placing 14th (1:51.81).

In the 2015 championships, Grewal swam the breaststroke legs of the 400 medley and 200 medley relay teams that set school records.
