ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy men’s soccer senior defender Joseph Greenspan earned two more All-America honors on Monday as he was recognized by College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer as a First-Team All-America on both of their respective Division I men’s soccer lists.

Greenspan previously was named a 2014 All-America First-Team defender by the NSCAA on December 12.

Greenspan was named to the preseason All-America First Teams by both College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer in August.

Greenspan, a 6-foot-6, 209-pound center back, helped Navy to an 11-4-5 overall record in 2014. Navy spent three weeks ranked in the NSCAA Top 25 and defeated two Top 25 teams in Maryland and American.

Greenspan’s play on the defensive backline helped Navy post nine shutouts and a Patriot League-best 0.65 goals-against average.

Greenspan also tallied four points on one goal and two assists.

The senior will graduate as the program’s all-time leader in career games played with 78.
