“We went into this week to see if we could continue to improve on our depth and getting everyone ready for the next couple weeks,” Navy head coach Stephen Cooksey said. “We had a very hard week’s work of practice and let them know that they may not feel their best but to go out and compete and I think that was exactly what they did today.”

Sartor-Francis led all Navy track athletes with three IC4A marks, two in the 60m dash (preliminaries and finals) and one in the 200m dash. The junior sprinter had his best mark in the 60m dash in the preliminaries round with a time of 6.93, while finishing with a time of 6.95 in the finals. Sartor-Francis finished first in both races.
