Navy owns a 45-44 lead over Army in the all-time series, while the Black Knights hold a slight edge, 23-22, in West Point, New York. The Mids last two outdoor victories have been decided by 30 points or more with the last meeting in favor of Navy, 115-85, in Annapolis.

Senior Austin Batiste will look to reach a rare feat in the Army-Navy series on Saturday as he aims to capture not only his fourth-straight outdoor 400-meter dash title but his eighth title in the event overall. Along with Batiste, teammates Jay Stell (javelin), Griffie Loy (shot put) and Khaalif Wolfe (triple jump) all look for their third consecutive title in their respective events.

Navy took care of business at the indoor meet, recording 13 first-place finishes out of 17 events and 31 IC4A-qualifying performances.

On the track, senior Austin Batiste (Long Beach, Calif.) broke the field house record in the 400-meter dash (47.44). Batiste’s first-place time broke UNC’s Clayton Parros’ record of 47.56, which he set on Jan. 28, 2012.
