Navy’s Gillingham wins Rockin Refuel� Performance of the Week

CENTER VALLY, Pa. — The Patriot League honored Navy junior left-handed pitcher Luke Gillingham with the Rockin’ Refuel® Performance of the Week after his stellar season-opening start on Friday.

Gillingham, who had a 3.33 ERA in 12 starts last season, opened the year with a win over North Carolina A&T on Friday, pitching seven innings of one-hit ball while striking out 16. More impressively, he struck out the first 12 batters, including 10 swinging.

Gillingham won numerous weekly national honors and he joined the PLN’s Melanie Pellowski via Skype to talk about his big game and more in this Rockin’ Refuel® feature.
