No. 20 BU Closes Regular Season with 4-1 Triumph over Colgate

BOSTON – Sophomore Amanda Cassera recorded a pair of goals to finish the regular season as the Patriot League scoring champion, as the No. 20 Boston University field hockey team poasted a 4-1 victory over Colgate on Saturday at New Balance Field.

It was a triumphant Senior Day for the Terriers, who secured the No. 2 seed for next weekend’s Patriot League tournament at Bucknell. BU will face defending League champion American in Friday’s semifinal round at 2 p.m.

Junior Sofi Laurito opened the scoring on Saturday and sophomore Rachel Feig added a late tally for her first goal as a Terrier.
