Ohio State’s Meyer to release book on leadership

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has a book on leadership and team building that will be out in October.

Penguin Press announced Wednesday that ”Above the Line: Lessons in Leadership and Life from a Championship Season” by Meyer, with author Wayne Coffey, will be published Oct. 27.

Meyer details his coaching philosophies, lessons for being successful and focuses on the Buckeyes’ 2014 national championship season. It is his first book.

Meyer is heading into his fourth season as Ohio State coach. He also won two national titles as coach at Florida.

Coffey is a best-selling author who has written books on former New York Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera (”The Closer”) and Toronto Blue Jays pitcher R.A. Dickey (“Wherever I Wind Up”).
