Richmond runs to 64-46 victory over Radford

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) Kendall Anthony scored 18 points and Alonzo Nelson-Ododa had nine points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots to lead Richmond to a 64-46 victory over Radford on Friday night.

Terry Allen added 13 points and nine rebounds. TJ Cline contributed 11 points.

The Highlanders, led by Javonte Green with 21 points and 12 rebounds, tied the score at 16 in the first half, but Richmond went on a 13-6 run to lead 29-22 at the half. The Spiders quickly opened a 39-24 lead in the second half and coasted to the win.

Radford won the rebound battle, pulling down 43 to Richmond’s 32 but only made 16 of 57 field goal attempts. The Highlanders made just 1 of 13 3-point attempts. The Spiders made 23 of 48 field goal attempts.
