Nov. 1, 2014

The Boston University women’s soccer team will head to Hamilton, N.Y. as the No. 2 seed for the Patriot League Tournament, which will be hosted by regular season champion Colgate and begins on Friday, Nov. 7.

After defeating Bucknell earlier today to earn a bye in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League tournament, the Terriers awaited the outcome of the Colgate vs. American game, which would determine whether or not they would host the tournament.

After a scoreless 73 minutes, the Raiders netted the game-winner to earn the top spot in the conference and earn the honor of hosting the tournament.

The Terriers tied Navy in points but earn the upper-hand in the seeding as BU defeated the Midshipmen at the start of the conference schedule.
