W. Basketball. Women’s Basketball Drops Mid-Afternoon Contest To Cornell

The Loyola University Maryland women’s basketball team dropped a 79-61 decision to Cornell Monday afternoon at Reitz Arena. 
Jeneh Perry led the Greyhounds (2-8) with 16 points, while Colleen Marshall and Bri Betz-White chipped in 14 and 10, respectively. 
For Cornell (6-4), Nia Marshall led all players with 24 points and Nicholle Aston had 21. 
Loyola will return to action after Christmas when it hosts George Washington on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m.
