CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Freshman Jack Wilson of the Boston University men’s lacrosse team was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Wilson’s week was highlighted by a record-setting performance on Saturday at Vermont. He tallied a program-best six goals and, along with sophomore Cal Dearth, produced a record seven points in the Terriers’ 15-7 victory. Four of his six goals came in the second half, including three consecutive markers in the fourth quarter.

The Manlius, New York, native also played well in the Terriers’ 7-4 loss at Providence on Wednesday. He tallied a goal and an assist for a two-point afternoon. This is Wilson’s second time being named the PL Rookie of the Week; he earned the honor after scoring five goals in his collegiate debut.

BU will return to Patriot League play on Saturday when the Terriers trek to Colgate.
