The 2016 college football bowl schedule is set, and there are plenty of intriguing postseason matchups.

The College Football Playoff will pit No. 1 Alabama against No. 4 Washington and No. 2 Clemson against No. 3 Ohio State in the Peach Bowl and Fiesta Bowl, respectively, on New Year’s Eve. The winners will meet in Tampa for the national championship game approximately a week later.

The college football bowl schedule will kick off on Saturday, December 18 with five games, and conclude on Monday, January 9 with the CFP title game. Contrary to most years, New Year’s Day will not feature any college football bowl games due to the NFL schedule.
