It’s been a week flush with Ohio love for 5-star outside linebacker Baron Browning.
On Wednesday, he received a house call from Urban Meyer and some Ohio State assistants. On Thursday, Browning committed to the Buckeyes, announcing his decision via social media. And then on Friday, during Kennedale High School’s playoff game against Van, Browning picked off a pass, took it to the house and celebrated with the O-H-I-O (Kennedale would win the game, 34-28).
Browning is the nation’s No. 2 OLB and No. 25 overall player. He’s the latest 5-star player in a recruting coups being put on by Meyer and the Buckeyes. Ohio State currently ranks No. 2 in the 2017 recruiting class rankings, with 16 commits, six of whom are 5-star players.
