AP Top 25 college football rankings for Week 15 of the 2016 season. Next stop, bowl season.

College football’s regular season and conference championship games are officially in the books, minus the annual end-of-season rivalry game between Army and Navy.

For the most part, the favorites heading into conference championship games took care of business. Alabama throttled Florida, Washington hammered Colorado, Clemson outlasted plucky Virginia Tech, and Penn State won a thriller over Wisconsin.

Now the aforementioned winners, as well as Ohio State, will await the College Football Playoff selection committee’s decision.

Oklahoma won its 12th game in the last 14 matchups against rival Oklahoma State. The Sooners ended the year on a nine-game winning streak after losing two of their first three to fall out of College Football Playoff contention.

The Big Ten has a nation-leading four teams slotted in the top 10 of the AP Top 25 rankings. The SEC, on the other hand, has just one, No. 1 Alabama. The ACC and Pac-12 each have two, and the Big 12 matches the SEC with one.

Navy fell out of the AP Top 25 following its loss to Temple in the American Athletic Conference title game. The Owls replaced the Midshipmen, and were the only team to move into the rankings.

Here’s a look at the rest of the AP Top 25 that was released Sunday afternoon.
