AP Top 25 college football rankings heading into Week 7 of the 2016 season. There’s a new-look poll after three previously undefeated teams fell.

Houston most likely can say goodbye to its hopes of reaching the College Football Playoff. Coach Tom Herman’s Cougars entered Saturday’s matchup with Navy ranked No. 6, but they slipped all the way down to No. 13 after falling, 46-40, to the Midshipmen, who jumped into the poll at No. 25.

No. 1 Alabama won’t be facing an undefeated Tennessee team this week after the Vols’ latest comeback bid fell short. They trailed Texas A&M by 21 points Saturday before rallying to force overtime but were stopped after Joshua Dobbs was picked off in double overtime, giving the Aggies a 45-38 victory.

That’s a pretty tough way to lose, but not as heartbreaking as what Miami experienced. The then-No. 10 Hurricanes scored a touchdown with 1:38 remaining to pull within one point of Florida State, but the Seminoles blocked the extra point and ran out the remainder of the clock to preserve a 20-19 victory over their rivals.

Four other ranked teams lost Saturday to cause a bit of a shakeup as well. Here’s a look at the newest edition of the AP Top 25, which was released Monday morning rather than Sunday afternoon because of the Georgia vs. South Carolina game being moved back a day due to Hurricane Matthew.
