Big Ten bowl projections heading into Week 8. Despite back-to-back losses, Wisconsin proved that it is one of the nation’s best teams.

The best 4-2 team in the nation resides in the Big Ten.

Wisconsin dropped a 14-7 game to Michigan at the Big House earlier in the year, and Paul Chryst’s squad fell 30-23 to Ohio State at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday evening. Despite the two setbacks, a Citrus Bowl berth could be on the horizon for the Badgers.

Meanwhile, Northwestern went into East Lansing and handed Michigan State its fourth straight defeat, as Clayton Thorson threw for 281 yards and three touchdowns in a 54-40 win. It is MSU’s longest losing streak in head coach Mark Dantonio’s 10 seasons at the school. Northwestern checks in this week with a Holiday Bowl bid, while Sparty falls to the Heart of Dallas Bowl—though I may be too generous with that bid at this point.

Where does your favorite Big Ten team land this week?

The South Carolina Gamecocks are heading to the Final Four. It just adds to the success the state of South Carolina has experienced during the 2016-17 college seasons. First, Coastal Carolina won the 2016 College World Series, then Clemson won the 2017 CFP National Championship. Can South Carolina follow-up with a title of its own?
