Big Ten football predictions for Week 7 of the 2016 season. The Big Ten will once again enter the national spotlight with a major showdown up in Madison.

Week 6 of Big Ten play was a bit lackluster, as the most high profile matchup was Ohio State welcoming Indiana into The Horseshoe. Week 7 will once again see the No. 2 Buckeyes as part of the headliner, only this time with much higher stakes as they travel to face the eighth-ranked Badgers.

Wisconsin was on the short end of the stick in the conference’s only other top-10 matchup of the season, losing 14-7 on the road against Michigan. Ohio State comes in with a four-game win streak against the Badgers, last losing in Camp Randall in 2010 – Jim Tressel’s last season in Columbus.

Nebraska, another Big Ten team in the top 10, will go to Bloomington to take on the upset-minded Hoosier. It is the first time the teams have met since 1978, when the Cornhuskers beat the Hoosiers 69-17 on a day where Tom Osborne and Lee Corso were roaming the sidelines.

Big Ten action kicks off with a trio of games on Saturday, as Iowa travels to Purdue, Illinois takes on Rutgers and Maryland hosts Minnesota.

Below is the complete Big 12 football schedule, as well as predictions for each game.

Livin’ B1G: Stuck In The Middle

The Big Ten won't be mentioned in any best-conference-in-the-nation conversations. Right now, it looks like a league filled with middle-of-the-road teams headed toward long offseasons.
