Sometimes swaying a recruit is as easy as pie. Key lime pie, no less. Just ask 4-star center Cesar Ruiz, who committed to Michigan on Monday.

We see you, Cesar. That Twitter handle is a nice, subtle “Overseas” hat tip to the land of the key lime pies, the Florida Keys; the road that runs from Key Largo to Key West is the Overseas Highway.

For folks out there looking for their next vacation spot, HIGHLY recommend flying into Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, renting a car, and making the drive down to the Southernmost Point. Make sure to stop off in Marathon at Keys Fisheries (MM49) to grab a whole pie (or five). You can also scoop one up online. You won’t be disappointed – in the vacation or the pie.
