A college football news roundup that includes Nick Saban firing back at Brian Kelly and the Stanford marching band still being banned from traveling to away games.

Looking for allergy medicine yesterday, I was walking along and saw a big store that I assumed was a Walgreen’s or Jewel-Osco since those seem to be everywhere here in Chicago. I found the medicine, went to the self-checkout aisle, and walked out before realizing that I had just passed through a Wal-Mart and purchased something. I feel so dirty.

In college football, our #FashionInsider Kurt Schwerman takes a look at the best uniforms of the week, we take a look at what dominoes would fall if Jimbo Fisher took the LSU job, and Colorado quarterback Sefo Liufau discusses what it would mean to win the Pac-12. Here are some other newsworthy notes in the latest college football news roundup.

Saban Reacts To Kelly – After Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly called Alabama’s strategy of using former players to come and act as players on the scout team “ludicrous,” Nick Saban had some comments for Kelly.

“It’s legal,” Saban said. “You can do it, you just don’t want to. So why complain about us doing it?”

It is worth pointing out that one of these coaches has won five national championships while the other is on the hot seat.

Another Vol Gone – Tennessee has lost another player as running back Jeremy Lewis has decided to leave the program and look to play elsewhere. The freshman had seen action in only two games so far this season.

No Music Here – Considering its reputation, it isn’t a big surprise that Stanford’s band will not be allowed to attend the Big Game versus California this Saturday. The band made headlines during January’s Rose Bowl game when it made fun of Iowa fans for being farmers, but that is child’s play to what else they have done in the past.

The band has been banned from traveling to away games since May 2015, and the University of California said it has not done enough to warrant traveling to Berkeley on Saturday. I’m sure, given the fact that Cal is extremely liberal, nothing about Donald Trump would have come up at all!
