A college football news roundup that includes Ohio State may be without a starting wide receiver against Nebraska and Western Michigan stays undefeated.

The weather was so nice yesterday that I had lunch outside, by myself, not having a care in the world as I gulped down my BLT and enjoyed life. If only every Chicago November day was like that. Soon, it will be freezing, and we will all be wondering what happened to the feeling in our extremities.

In college football, UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen is likely out for the rest of the season, LSU offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell was suspended after being arrested, and the first College Football Playoff rankings were released. Here are some other newsworthy notes in the latest college football news roundup.

O-H-O-O-O-W-W – The Ohio State offense has been struggling a bit in the last two games, and now it looks like the Buckeyes will be without wide receiver Parris Campbell, who suffered an ankle sprain in the win against Northwestern.

“It’s much better than we thought,” head coach Urban Meyer said of the injury.

The Buckeyes take on No. 9 Nebraska in Columbus on Saturday night.

Bad Move, Mixon – Here’s some advice to Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon: when a police officer hands you a ticket, it is not good to rip it up in front of them and throw it on the crowd.

Mixon has been suspended for the Sooners game against Iowa State on Thursday for a violation of team rules.

Not Sunk Yet – The boat stayed rowing last night as Western Michigan beat Ball State, 52-20, to stay unbeaten. I wonder if P.J. Fleck will get any Coach of the Year honors?
