College Football Predictions For Every Week 14 Game

College football predictions and schedule for every game in Week 14 of the 2016 season. Nine conference champions will be crowned in this final weekend before the playoff teams are selected.

It’s conference championship week in college football, and while games like the SEC and ACC championship games present straight-forward, “win-and-you’re-in” scenarios, the Pac-12 and Big Ten have more complicated playoff situations.

With Colorado and Washington squaring off in Santa Clara on Friday night, and Wisconsin facing Penn State in Indianapolis, the Big Ten and Pac-12 feature top-1o matchups. Washington will likely lay claim to the fourth and final playoff spot should it take care of the Buffaloes to finish the season 12-1, but a Huskies’ loss would open the door for a number of two-loss teams. First in line would be the winner of the matchup between the Badgers and Nittany Lions, especially if James Franklin’s team wins in convincing fashion—giving it victories over two top-10 teams this season.

In Norman, another top-10 matchup will serve as the de facto Big 12 title game, as the 9-2 Sooners host the 9-2 Cowboys. A win could give either Oklahoma or Oklahoma State an outside shot at the last playoff berth, although they would likely face stiff competition from the Big Ten and Pac-12 champs, as well as the wildcard of a two-loss Michigan. The Wolverines have wins over both Big Ten title game participants, as well as an out-of-conference victory over Colorado.

Also in play this weekend is the Group of Five’s berth in a New Year’s Six bowl. Western Michigan would appear to have the inside track. However, should the Broncos lose to Ohio in the MAC title game, that could open the doors for a team like Navy to find itself in the Cotton Bowl.

Below is the full Week 14 college football schedule, as well as predictions for each game.
