College football recruiting rankings update as of Nov. 16, 2016. Alabama regained the top spot after picking up a 4-star offensive lineman.

Never bet against Nick Saban. Once again, the Crimson Tide have regained the No. 1 spot in the 2017 recruiting class rankings. Saban’s team added its 22nd commit when 4-star offensive tackle Jedrick Wills committed to Alabama. The addition of Wills added 210 recruiting points to the Tide’s total, bringing it to 3,995 points — 137 points more than No. 2 Ohio State.

Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines also made a move up the rankings. Michigan landed 4-star safety Jaylen Kelly-Powell and slid up one spot to No. 8, hopping over Texas A&M in the process.

The Aggies might have been in danger of falling down the rankings even further if 4-star quarterback Kellen Mond had reconsidered his pledge to Texas A&M. There was talk he might he might do that in light of the Aggies’ pursuit of former Baylor quarterback Jarret Stidham. But Mond spoke with Campus Insiders and reiterated that he’s embracing any competition lying in front of him once he gets to College Station.

Below are the current top 25 teams for the college football recruiting rankings.
