A college football recruiting roundup as of December 27, 2016, tracking the latest commitments in the 2017 class.

As the holiday season progresses, the recruiting dead period is moving with it step for step.

And with the Under Armour All-America Game set for Jan. 1 and the U.S. Army All-American Bowl taking place on Jan. 7, we’re gearing up for a wild finish to what was an already up-and-down recruiting cycle.

Plenty of decisions will be announced between now and National Signing Day on Feb. 1. We’ll see flips, decommitments, and a whole lot more.

But it’s not as though there haven’t been some big moves on the recruiting trail recently. Kirby Smart and Jim Harbaugh have been two of the biggest winners as of late with commitments they’ve landed.

And then there’s Tom Herman who locked down several recruits prior to Christmas, and looks to finish Texas’ recruiting class on a high note.

Here are some of the recent highlights of the 2017 recruiting cycle in today’s recruiting round up.
