Derwin James Breaks Twitter Silence, Is Prepping For Big Return

<iframe src="" width="640" height="360" style="border:0"></iframe>

After going silent on Twitter in early August, Florida State defensive back Derwin James broke his silence today to request one thing of the Seminole faithful: patience.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that James would miss the remainder of FSU’s season due to a torn meniscus he suffered in the second half of the Charleston Southern game on September 10. His presence has been missed, as the Noles rank No. 11 in the ACC in pass defense, giving up 65.7 more yards than last season.

And while he may be “shut down” according to Jimbo Fisher, James wants fans to know that when, in fact, it is time to return, he will be laying the lumber to make up for the lost season.

Opposing offenses, you have been warned.
