Another Louisiana native has spurned the home-state LSU Tigers for rival Alabama. On Tuesday, five-star JUCO defensive end Isaiah Buggs, the No. 2 junior college player in the country, chose the Crimson Tide over the Tigers. Buggs is from Ruston, Louisiana.

Fellow Louisiana prospect Dylan Moses, a five-star recruit himself and the nation’s No. 1 outside linebacker, welcomed the newest “savage” to the Tide.

With Buggs’ commitment, Alabama’s No. 1-ranked recruiting class now sits nearly 1,000 points ahead of No. 2 Ohio State.
