Weight: 186 lbs
This guy can be a star — a legitimate star. Jalen Hall does a great job of using his quickness and footwork off the line of scrimmage to separate himself from his man. He can flash the straight-line speed and reel in passes over the top, or he can go over the middle and make a lot happen after the catch. He’s extremely elusive and shows great vision when working through traffic.
The USC offense would be a great fit and allow Hall to get involved in a variety of ways. Oregon would be another solid fit for the talented wide receiver, especially with Justin Herbert blossoming into one of the Pac-12’s better quarterbacks.
What They’re Saying
“Hall has tremendous size, strong hands, runs well enough to make plays down the field and has excellent body control. He has a large catch radius and will be an immediate weapon in red zone situations. ” – Scout
Notable Offers: Alabama, Baylor, Cal, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC and Washington
Don’t look now, but the Trojans could be lining up to snag yet another elite wide receiver. And they’re targeting the same program that produced two of their top signees from the 2017 class: Joseph Lewis and Greg Johnson. Look for Hall to want to reunite with his former Augustus Hawkins teammates at USC, which gives the Trojans a huge advantage.
Surely, Jim Harbaugh and Nick Saban will both take big swings at Hall, but both Alabama and Michigan have a long way to go before they overtake USC in Hall’s recruitment.
