Jarrett Stidham’s Auburn Visit Went ‘Very Well’

Jarrett Stidham’s Auburn visit was seemingly a success for the Tigers as they try and get the quarterback on The Plains for next season.

Jarrett Stidham enjoyed his time in Auburn so much that he extended his visit to an overnight stay, taking in a Tigers basketball game at Auburn Arena with head coach Gus Malzahn.

The trip seemed to be a success for the Auburn coaching staff, as a source told Auburn Undercover that the trip went “very well.”

Stidham is taking his final recruiting visits before ultimately deciding between the Tigers, Texas A&M, and Florida on where he will spend his final three years of eligibility. The former Baylor quarterback is one of the most sought-after transfer recruits this offseason, as he has the ability to transform an offense into a major threat in an instant.

If deciding on Auburn, Stidham would be the favorite to start under center in an offense that thrives with a mobile quarterback. Stidham is a guy that would be perfect in the read-option Malzahn likes to employ. He would also bring an arm that the Tigers are sorely lacking right now. In the three games in which he started in 2015 for the Bears, Stidham threw for 934 yards and six touchdowns while also rushing for a score.

Stidham is expected to announce his decision sometime in December.
