LSU freshman offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell has been suspended from the team after being arrested on Georgia Tech’s campus.
Bye weeks are always stressful for head coaches, as they are left wondering what their players are getting into with the free time afforded to them. For one LSU player, the off weekend would have been better spent studying the playbook.
Donavaughn Campbell, a freshman offensive lineman for the Tigers, has been suspended from the team following an arrest. He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of battery after allegedly being involved in a fight outside a fraternity house at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, according to FOX 8 New Orleans. Yellow Jackets safety Jalen Johnson was arrested with Campbell.
A four-star signee in the 2016 class out of Ponchatoula, LA, Campbell has played in three games so far this season.
The Tigers will face No. 1-ranked Alabama this Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
