LSU vs. Arkansas prediction roundtable with the Campus Insiders staff. Breaking down what will happen during Saturday’s game between the Tigers and Razorbacks.

Jonathan Bass

Give me LSU simply because I have no idea what to make of Arkansas. Two games ago the Razorbacks gave up a billion rushing yards to Auburn, and then last week they look like the second coming of the 1985 Bears, holding the Gators to 12 yards rushing and turning Luke Del Rio into a JV quarterback. Talk about manic.

LSU is coming off a tough-fought, emotional defeat to Alabama in Death Valley. What’s lost is that, despite the outcome, it was the Tigers’ best game of the season, by far. If Ed Orgeron is the coach of the future for LSU, he’ll get the team to shake off the loss and rebound.

Robert Judin

Arkansas took down Florida because the Gators couldn’t move the ball on offense. That won’t happen against LSU. In spite of a loss to Alabama, the Tigers have actually found an offense they were so desperate for when Les Miles was still their head coach. Austin Allen will have a tough time moving Jamal Adams with his eyes, and it’ll cost Arkansas. Leonard Fournette and Derrius Guice will gash the Razorbacks, and LSU will run to victory.

Dave Miller

After playing top-ranked Alabama close for four quarters, LSU must quickly rebound and be prepared for an Arkansas squad that easily handled Florida last week. Leonard Fournette will have a big day on the ground for the Tigers, while Rawleigh Williams III will have a little more difficulty rushing for the Razorbacks. Austin Allen will get pressured into a fourth-quarter mistake, as the Bayou Bengals pull away from the Hogs down the stretch for a win.

Brian Stultz

This game will actually be pretty darn good, especially the way Arkansas played last week in its victory against Florida. Ed Orgeron and Bret Bielema are old friends, and they have nothing but love for each other, but with both of their personalities, I can see a shouting match happening between the sidelines. That would be awesome.

LSU wins, Orgeron keeps on lobbying for the full-time job, all while the powers-to-be at LSU know that they would be better off giving the job to anyone else other than Orgeron.
