Michigan vs. Wisconsin prediction roundtable with the Campus Insiders staff. Breaking down what will happen in Saturday’s top-10 matchup between the Wolverines and Badgers.

Jeff Bartl

There’s no question this Wisconsin defense is legit. It hasn’t allowed more than the 325 yards it gave up last week, when it forced four turnovers while dominating Michigan State. Unfortunately, I’m still not sold on Alex Hornibrook being able to help the Badgers score enough points to win in The Big House. The Wolverines are going to score their fewest points of the season – they haven’t finished with fewer than 45 during their 4-0 start – but Wilton Speight will guide a couple of scoring drives and Jabrill Peppers will give Hornibrook fits as Michigan picks up its second Big Ten win.

Jordan Cornette

Wisconsin is the most overrated team in college football. Wins against overhyped LSU and Michigan State have people drinking the juice in Madison. The Badgers defense is worthy of respect, but the Michigan offense has the weapons to explore a few big plays in this one. It will be close, but the big plays from the Wolverines will be enough to create separation.

Robert Judin

As my esteemed colleagues mentioned, the Wisconsin defense has been more stout than a Russian beer. But linebacker Vince Biegel is out for a few weeks with a cracked foot, and the rest of the Badgers are pretty banged up. Jabrill Peppers will take over this game and lead the Wolverines to a victory. Who’s got it better than Michigan? Not Wisconsin.

Dave Miller

The Badgers are coming off of a thorough road win over Michigan State, while the Wolverines haven’t really been tested yet this season. Quarterback Alex Hornibrook has been solid since Paul Chryst tabbed him as the starter, but I think a critical second-half turnover by the redshirt freshman turns the tide of the game and helps Jim Harbaugh’s squad remain unbeaten. That said, this Badgers team will be Michigan’s first true physical test of the year.
