Five-star running back Najee Harris plans on taking all five of his official visits and isn’t completely sure of his Alabama commitment.

Alabama made waves in the recruiting world a couple weeks ago when it snagged 5-star linebacker Dylan Moses, but it could be on the verge of losing a pledge from the nation’s No. 1 overall player.

Five-star prospect Najee Harris, the No. 1 running back in the country, has been committed to the Crimson Tide since April 22, 2015. However, that commitment may not be as solid as it once was.

When he was introduced as a member of the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Friday, Harris told USA Today that he’s been on the fence about his decision.

“I’m going to take my five visits, but I just don’t know where,” Harris said. “Let’s say this: My mind isn’t set on Alabama. I’m not 100 percent set on Alabama. I’m trying to see what else is out there for me. I’m using my visits to see. As much attention as I’ve gotten, I feel like I have helped my teammates get some offers, too.”

Michigan has been looking to flip Harris, who attended a recruiting barbecue in Ann Arbor two months ago. And now, the 5-star running back is set to receive a visit from Jim Harbaugh this Friday.

Harris may not have publicly stated where his official visits will be spent, but one can reasonably assume both Alabama and Michigan will be on the list.

SEC Country’s Chris Kirschner, who covers Alabama football and recruiting, told Campus Insiders he believes there is a definite chance Harris could flip, and he believes the Wolverines provide the “biggest competition” for the Crimson Tide in Harris’ recruitment.

Judging by Harris’ take on the Michigan head coach, it seems as though the Wolverines really are gaining steam.

“[Jim Harbaugh’s] dope,” Harris said. “Everybody thinks he’s weird, but he’s not weird. I like him a lot. He’s a funny dude. He’s cool.”
