Alabama head coach Nick Saban is working on flipping No. 3 safety Jacoby Stevens from rival LSU.
Four-star safety Jacoby Stevens committed to LSU on August 8, 2016, and has remained with the Tigers despite originally pledging before the program’s coaching change. That being said, he hasn’t ruled out rival Alabama just yet, saying that the Tide are in his final two, alongside the Tigers.
On Friday, Saban and defensive backs coach Derrick Ansley paid a visit to Stevens at Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Stevens also took his most recent official visit to Tuscaloosa for Alabama’s game against Auburn on Nov. 26. He also used an OV to check out LSU the weekend the Tigers hosted the Tide.
Saban has been making the rounds this week with the recruiting dead period quickly approaching. Come Monday, December 12, Saban and fellow coaches will have to shut down their recruiting efforts until it reopens again.
Stevens is listed as an athlete/safety, and is ranked as the nation’s No. 45 overall player and No. 3 ATH.
On Thursday, Alabama flipped four-star safety Daniel Wright, the little brother of former Gator star Major Wright, from Florida State.
