The Michigan Wolverines will receive an official visit from the nation’s No. 16 wide receiver Nico Collins.
Four-star Pinson, Alabama prospect Nico Collins is headed back to Ann Arbor, Michigan, this time for an official visit.
According to Chad Simmons of Scout.com, the Wolverines will welcome Collins to town the weekend of Nov. 5 when the team hosts the Maryland Terrapins and former UM defensive coordinator D.J. Durbin.
The news of Collins’ visit comes on the same day it was confirmed that five-star running back Cam Akers would also be taking a visit to Michigan.
Collins, a big-framed wide receiver at 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds, is ranked as the nation’s No. 115 overall player and No. 16 wide receiver.
He received an offer from Michigan in October 2015, and has since taken multiple trips to see the Wolverines, including three in 2016 (May 6, June 18 and August 6).
Michigan is believed to be the frontrunner for Collins at this point in time.
