Four-star offensive tackle Qadir White visited Penn State. The Class of 2018 product enjoyed his time in Happy Valley.

Qadir White has big plans this weekend.

The Bronx (NY) Cardinal Hayes four-star offensive tackle visited Penn State on Friday and was scheduled to head to Pittsburgh on Saturday.

The Class of 2018 product’s visit to Happy Valley was his first, and he told 247Sports that it was very enjoyable.

“It was great,” White said. “They toured us around the facilities and the campus. I liked it a lot.”

The 6-foot-7, 326-pound prospect, whose teammate is 2018 defensive end Antonio Colclough, visited Penn State without an offer in-hand. As of now, Georgia, Miami, Rutgers, Pitt and Minnesota are among the schools on his offer list.

“I got to sit down and talk with Coach [Matt] Limegrover and Coach [James] Franklin about recruiting me,” he said. “They said they want to make sure I’m [academically] eligible to extend an offer. They do that with every student-athlete they recruit. They said they have a process with recruiting.

“I’m not exactly sure right now where they’d be on the list, but that offer would mean a lot,” he said.

White is one of the best offensive tackles in New York for his class, and he named Rutgers his leader in the beginning of January 2017. He has taken several unofficial visits to the Scarlet Knights since picking up his offer in June 2016.
