San Diego vs. Stetson live stream. Watch the matchup online via Campus Insiders this Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.


San Diego will try to clinch the Pioneer Football League championship and an automatic berth in the FCS playoffs on Saturday against Stetson. The Toreros are 7-1 and 6-0 in the conference following a 27-3 win over Marist two weeks ago.

Stetson had its chance to beat Marist last week, but it allowed a touchdown in the final minute and fell, 45-38. The Hatters are 4-5 overall and 2-4 in the PFL.

Saturday’s game between the Toreros and Hatters will be broadcast live via Campus Insiders. Below is info about the broadcast as well as game notes from each team.

  • Sophomore quarterback Anthony Lawrence is one of eight players up for the Walter Payton Award, which honors the FCS’s top offensive player. He ranks first in the PFL in passing efficiency rating at 161.6.
  • The Toreros need a win in one of its final two games to clinch a share of their eighth PFL title. San Diego holds a potential tiebreaker over Dayton and Marist as the Toreros defeated both teams during the regular season.
  • San Diego has won all three previous meetings against Stetson. Lawrence threw for 453 yards and three touchdowns in last year’s win.

Stetson Notes

  • Stetson has been outscored by a combined 137-39 in the three previous meetings with San Diego.
  • Sophomore Nick Andreas was the third different player to start at quarterback for the Hatters last week against Marist. His 339 passing yards set a school record, breaking the mark of 328 by Ryan Tentler against Butler in 2014.
