Summer Overwatch Season Now Open for Registration!

School might be out for summer, but the games are still on! CSL is hosting a summer Overwatch tournament with a $4,000 prize pool. Win some cool cash while honing your skills with your collegiate team. Games start July 8th, so read the following details closely so you can sign up in time!

Registration Dates

Registration is open from June 16 to June 30th. 

How to Register

Compile your 6-person minimum roster, register your user accounts on the CSL website, create and enroll your team under the open season starting June 16.

Registration Fees

$20.00 per team. No limit to the amount of registered teams per school, but each player may only play for 1 team.

Prize Pool

Prize pool is $4,000 split up as follows:

  • 1st – $2000
  • 2nd – 1000
  • 3rd/4th – $250

Tournament Dates

There will be 2 matches per week with weekly play Starting July 8 through August 26 weekends; one match will take place at the normal default CSL play time, Saturdays 12pm Pacific, and one match will take place at the same time on Sundays.

General Rules

All normal CSL rules and eligibility requirements are in effect; players who graduated during the middle of the 2016-2017 school year are eligible to compete during the Summer. Full rules will be updated on the rules page in the days to come.

Tournament is online only, two matches per week. Teams of 6 will play best of 3 matches in a group stage with top teams advancing to a single elimination playoffs. Initial map and tiebreaker map for each will be preset with the loser of each map selecting the next map in the match. No map may be reused within a match, including the initial and tiebreaker maps.
