4-Star WR Tyjon Lindsey Shares Message With Ohio State Following Decommitment

It certainly came as a surprise late Tuesday night when 4-star prospect Tyjon Lindsey announced he had re-opened his recruitment, decommitting from Ohio State.

Lindsey, the No. 6 wide receiver and No. 47 overall player in the country, originally committed to the Buckeyes in August with Trevon Grimes, a 5-star wide receiver.

When considering two of Lindsey’s high school teammates, 5-star quarterback Tate Martell and 4-star defensive tackle Haskell Garrett, will be playing in Columbus next fall, Ohio State fans certainly did not expect the 4-star pass catcher to back off his pledge.

But when Lindsey spoke to, he shared the following message to thank Buckeye Nation and further illustrate the reason behind his decision.
