Army West Point & Aviation: Tradition for Jollota Family

Army West Point senior Erin Jollota first learned of the Army and the US Military Academy through her parents and brother Sean. Her parents met as Black Hawk pilots while they were stationed in Korea. Her father was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service in the Battle of Mogadishu in 1993, and his story was later told in the bestseller and major motion picture “Black Hawk Down". She will follow in her parents' footsteps and begins flight school after she is commissioned in May.
