Pete Frates Wins NCAA Inspiration Award

Pete Frates, former Boston College baseball captain and face for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, is presented with the 2017 NCAA Inspiration Award by NCAA president Dr. Mark Emmert. Since his diagnosis with ALS, or Lou Gerhig's disease in 2012, Frates has faced his challenges head on, raising millions of dollars for ALS research while providing inspiration to millions of people.
