Weston Steelhammer Turns Over South Alabama In Arizona Bowl

Air Force safety Weston Steelhammer forced a pair of turnovers against South Alabama in the NOVA® Home Loans Arizona Bowl. In the first half, Steelhammer ripped the ball away from Jaguars running back Xavier Johnson in the red zone and the Falcons recovered. In the second half, Steelhammer stopped another Jaguars drive by picking off Dallas Davis in Air Force territory. Steelhammer was named Defensive MVP for his performance.
