5. Tom Hrkac (North Dakota, 1984-1987): 241 Points
North Dakota great, Tony Hrkac is currently #5 on the top 5 scorers in college hockey history. During his legendary hockey career, Hrkac was arguably one of the best of his era.

Phil Latreille is one of the early college legends who’s among the top 5 scorers in college hockey history. While playing at Middlebury in the late 1950s/late 1960s, Latreille dominated college hockey.
In just three seasons, Phil Latreille recorded a near all-time record of 297 total points(190 goals, 107 assists). Throughout his college career, Latreille averaged over 4 points per game and recorded over 200 points for two straight seasons.
What also makes the Middlebury legend’s stats more extraordinary is that it was done during shorter seasons.
3. Jim Montgomery (Maine, 1989-1993): 301 Points
Any college hockey would know the great Jim Montgomery would show up somewhere on the list. The Maine legend was part of arguably, one of the greatest college hockey teams ever assembled.
Montgomery led Maine’s hockey team from 1989 to 1993 and led the league in multiple categories. During Jim’s impeccable career, he racked up a total of 301 points(103 goals and 198 assists)
He played a pivotal role on the legendary Maine squad in 1993 that won the title and went 41-1-2 on the year.
2. Tom Rost (Army 1972-1976): 324 Points
At #2 on the top 5 scorers in college hockey history list is the legendary Tom Rost, Tom played on the legendary Army team during the 1970s under iconic coach Jack Riley.
He was part of the infamous “Buffalo Line” along with his brother Dave and Danny Murrett. Rost averaged between 2.4 to 2.7 points during his college career and made Army one the most formidable college teams.
Rost ended his stellar career with 324 total points.
